Inspector Gadget Slot Game Review
Blueprint Gaming has decided it’s time to return to the 1980s. Having lived through the decade that’s something I might like to take issue with. However, their decision to reanimate the classic cartoon character Inspector Gadget though I have no problem with.
Inspector Gadget was – and is – great fun. For a superhero he was extraordinarily stupid and incompetent, but very lovable, yes, his heart was in the right place, even if his legs had been replaced with giant steel extenders.
Taking its cue from Gadgets adaptability, the Inspector Gadget slot game chucks loads of extras at its 5-reel, 20 pay-line online video slot, with five base game extras and five bonuses. A 20p stake will get you started, and £200 is the most you can gamble.
Man or machine?
If you’re not fortunate to be as old and wise and me and to remember the original Inspector Gadget you’ll love the look of this game, which is true to the original 80s cartoon style.
The symbols begin with the usual run of cards from Jack upwards. Scoring more highly than these are the game-specific icons, a safe, handcuffs, files, police cars, and the Gadget logo which pays a top-rated 25x stake.
A bomb is the Wild, which pays the same amount and stands in for every other symbol except the scatter, which is modelled on the logo of Gadget’s arch-enemy, MAD.
Inspector Gadget Slot Features
Within the main game, extra features – Go Go Gadget modifiers – are triggered by the ringing of a phone. They are missions:
