Well, once you get over a certain age you get a bit more cynical about them, and the cynical part of me wonders if the Birthday! slot game from Elk wasn’t made with birthday promos to players in mind. Who knows? And if it’s a good game – spoiler, it’s excellent – who cares?

This birthday cake is cut five ways with five reels, but 179 ways to win, now that’s a lot of candles! The theming in the Birthday slot game is a bit odd. How do you represent a birthday? Elk has gone for a big American bar ready for a party full of surprises. Everyone has their own taste in music, of course, but I really didn’t like the song on the soundtrack – if you do, you won’t need the mute button like I did.
